Kerr, 92, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Erick First Baptist Church with Jeff Avery, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Erick Cemetery by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Service. Mr. Kerr was born in Mena, Ark. He married Elsie L. Alexander in 1925 at Mayfield, Okla. They lived in Mayfield; Texline, Texas; and Greenwood, Ark., until 1944, when they moved to Sweetwater. He worked as a custodian at the Sweetwater school. He retired in 1974 and moved to Erick. He was a member of Erick Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Billy Kerr. Survivors include three daughters, Laura Williams of Elk City, Norma Cook of Amarillo and Georgia Reed of Sweetwater; two sons, Eddie Kerr of Amarillo and Robert E. Kerr of Erick; two sisters, Mary Williford of Hackett, Ark., and Alrene Reaves of Jackson, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
