   Maurice Kinnie
   SUDAN - Maurice Kinnie, 82, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Sudan.
   Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery.
   
   Mr. Kinnie was born in Elk City, Okla., and married Mildred Woolly in
   1938 at Lula, Okla.
   
   He had been a resident of Sudan since 1957, moving from Santa Rosa,
   N.M. He retired in 1981 from Southwestern Public Service Co. after 27
   years of service.
   
   He also served in the Navy during World War II. He was Baptist.
   
   He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997.
   
   Survivors include four sons, Ronald Kinnie of Portland, Ore., and
   Larry Kinnie, John Kinnie and Donnie Kinnie, all of Sudan; four
   daughters, Freda Sherley of Plainview, Nell Stanley of Lazbuddie,
   Becky Otwell of Muleshoe and Debra Wardlow of Amarillo; 18
   grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild.
   
   The family requests memorials be to Sudan EMS/Sudan Fire Department.
