   Ann Krahn
   
   VEGA - Ann Krahn, 79, died Saturday, June 21, 2003.
   
   Services  will  be  at  2 p.m. Tuesday in Vega United Methodist Church
   with the Rev. Steve Cox, pastor, and the Rev. Jim Watkins officiating.
   Burial  will  be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Vega by Boxwell Brothers
   at Vega.
   
   Mrs.  Krahn  was  born in Vega. She graduated from Vega High School in
   May 1941. She was co-owner of Krahn's Texaco and Cafe. She married Don
   Krahn on Oct. 23, 1941, in Lubbock.
   
   She was preceded in death by two sons, Philip Dean Krahn and Jerry Ray
   Krahn; and a sister, Veta Russell.
   
   Survivors  include  her husband; a son, Doug Krahn and wife, Jorji, of
   Vega; three sisters, Jane Everett of Pritchett, Colo., Barbara Ballard
   of  Baton Rouge, La., and Vicky Goucher of Elk City, Okla.; a brother,
   Son  Wiseman  and  wife,  Elsie,  of  Logan, N.M.; four grandchildren,
   Kellie, Kris, Sharon and Joel; and two great-grandchildren.
   
   Viewing  will  be  from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon
   Tuesday at the funeral home.
   
   The  family  suggests  memorials be to Vega United Methodist Church or
   Memorial Park Cemetery, P.O. Box 496, Vega, TX 79092.
