All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Damon E. Ladd Damon E. Ladd, 81, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Elk City Cemetery. Mr. Ladd was born in Magazine, Ark. He worked for Phillips for 20 years prior to retiring. He was a member of the Dalhart Masonic Lodge and was a Baptist. He served with the Army in the South Pacific during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise in 2000; and a son and daughter-in-law; Stephen Ladd and wife, Diana, in 1984. Survivors include two sons, Damon Ladd of Roanoke and Clint Ladd and wife, Jana, of Alvarado; a sister, Pearlie Mae Stauber of Dumas; two granddaughters, Stephanie Stokes and husband, Robert, of Stillwater and Summer Hope Ladd of Alvarado; and a grandson, Nicholas Scott Ladd of Alvarado. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109; or to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
