Leona Faye Lakey

Leona Faye Lakey, 85, of Amarillo, formerly of Sayre, Okla., died Monday, Feb.
26, 2007.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church in Sayre with her
nephews, Dr. Richard D. Waters of Flower Mound and Robert Lakey, officiating.
Burial will be in Sayre Doxey Cemetery in Sayre by Rose Chapel Funeral Service
of Sayre.

Miss Lakey was born June 2, 1921, in Sayre to Alice Irene and Thomas Richard
Lakey. She grew up in Sayre, where she was an active member of First Baptist
Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Opal Waters and Alice Bryan, both of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to the children's nursery of First Baptist
Church in Sayre or BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
