Donnie Harold Loyd, 54, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000. 

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard 
Batson, senior minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery 
by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mr. Loyd was born in Elk City, Okla. He served in the Air Force. He moved to 
Amarillo in 1981. He worked for Safeway grocery and for Furr's Food Stores as 
store manager. He worked in sales for the Rug Doctor.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Loyd of the Navy and Jason Loyd of Hungary; 
one daughter, Stephanae Loyd of Canyon; his parents, Mamie Lee and Gwen Loyd of 
Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
