Louisa Mae Melzer

ELK CITY, OKLA. - Louisa Mae Melzer, 74, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Whinery-Savage Funeral Service Chapel
with Gary McClellan officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Melzer was born May 28, 1931, in Catesby to Mollie Appel and Theodore R.
Brace. She married Melvin "Steve" Melzer on Oct. 9, 1949, in Shattuck.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Joy Ditmore of Pampa and Brenda Ann
Pittser of Elk City; a son, Steven Ray Melzer of Elk City; seven
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Johnnie Brace of Bent, N.M.;
and a sister, Evelyn Holt of Gage.
