Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Mustang United Methodist Church at Mustang, with the Rev. Randy Hodgson officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Pampa, Texas, with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Mills was born in La Junta, Colo., and was raised in the Redlands community outside Idabel. She graduated from Hayworth High School. She moved to Pampa in 1953 from Elk City. She worked for Dixie Parts for two years and the First United Methodist Church for 11 years as church secretary. She moved to Yukon in 1980 and worked for the Ridgecrest United Methodist Church for two years. She was a member of the Mustang United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women at Mustang. She also was a member of the WinSome Sunday School Class. She married James Arther Mills in 1945 at Oklahoma City. He died in 1971. Survivors include a daughter, Coreta Sue Ray of El Reno; two sons, Elvin Ronald Mills of LaPorte, and Kelvin Keith Mills of San Marcos, Texas; her mother, Gladys Pulte of Idabel; three sisters, Alene Mathews and Donna Dollarhide, both of Idabel, and Doris Whisenhunt of Navasota, Texas; two brothers, Donald Pulte of Idabel, and Billy Pulte of Kemp, Texas; and two grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
