Leonard Mills
WILLOW, Okla. - Leonard "Nig" Mills, 89, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Erick First Baptist Church at Erick with Charlie Floyd 
officiating. Burial will be in Erick Cemetery by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.

Mr. Mills was born in Cove, Ark. He attended school southeast of Erick and in Iowa. He farmed 
near Erick until 1937 and in Kelton, Texas, until 1965, when he moved to a ranch southeast of 
Erick. He was a member of the Kelton First Baptist Church.

He married Glenn Wooley in 1930 at Sayre. He later married Aliene Abernethy in 1985 at Sweetwater.

Survivors include his wife, Aliene; a son, Gary Mills of the home; a daughter, Joyce Divelbiss of 
Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Jan Hill of Shamrock, Texas; a stepson, Jerry Palmer of Mabank, Texas; 
three brothers, Bill Mills and Melvin Mills, both of Erick and Ben Mills of Sayre; and five 
grandchildren.
