Grady Bascom Nelson

LUBBOCK - Grady Bascom Nelson, 73, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Central Lubbock Church of Christ with
Gerald Jackson officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in
Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Home.

Mr. Nelson was born April 21, 1932, to David and Lois Nelson. He lived and
farmed in the Friona area for more than 30 years before moving to Lubbock in
1987.

Survivors include a son, Scot Nelson of Lubbock; three daughters, Genie Bundy
of Phoenix, Linda Light of Abilene and Tommie Jo Henry of Lubbock; a sister,
Dorrace "Dot" Latham of Elk City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
