Linda Palmer

SHAMROCK - Linda Palmer, 62, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Calvary Christian Fellowship in Shamrock
with the Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, the Rev. Jack Lee and Randy Schlegel
officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Palmer was born Oct. 27, 1941, in Amarillo to John and Elsie Newkirk
Grimes. She married Conny Palmer on Sept. 27, 1984, in Wellington. Linda had
lived in Shamrock most of her life and had worked for C&H Supply for several
years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, John Thomas Grimes; and a
niece, Angel Copeland.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Randy Schlegel and wife, Sharon, of
Amarillo, David Schlegel of Fritch, Scott Schlegel and wife, Tracey, of Electra
and Jerry Palmer and wife, Carrie, of Stephenville; a daughter, Jan Hill and
husband, Terry, of Shamrock; a sister, Bess Brobst of Elk City, Okla.; two
brothers, Phil Grimes of Jacksonville and Gene Grimes of San Angelo; her
mother, Elsie Hollabaugh of Jacksonville; a sister-in-law, Ann Grimes of
Abernathy; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
