Evalyn Lillian Parrish
SHAMROCK - Evalyn Lillian Parrish, 84, died Friday, June 23, 2000.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Shamrock Cemetery with Joe Jernigan, 
pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright 
Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Parrish was born in Port, Okla., and graduated from high school in Carter, Okla. 
In 1936, she moved to Shamrock, where she worked for Dunlap and Hunter's Department Stores 
and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the bookkeeper for Parrish Brothers Welding.

She married Sterlin Parrish in 1936 at Sayre, Okla.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Carol Sloss and Ann Brashears, both of Shamrock, 
Vickie Holmes of Lubbock, and Jan Carpenter of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Irish Helping Hands or Shamrock Meals on Wheels.
