   Willie Faye Peninger
   Willie Faye Peninger, 94, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, April
   18, 1998.
   
   Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the Rev.
   Charles Davenport officiating. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home
   of Elk City, Okla.
   
   Mrs. Peninger was born in Canton. When she was 6, she moved with her
   family to Canute, Okla., and graduated from high school there.
   
   She married Joshua H. Peninger in 1924 at Canute. They lived in the
   Canute community until 1930, when they moved to Elk City. In 1950,
   they moved to Amarillo, where Mrs. Peninger lived until 1992, when she
   entered Bell Avenue Nursing Home in Elk City.
   
   She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975.
   
   Survivors include three children, Dean Peninger of Elk City, Travis W.
   Peninger of Amarillo and Norma Jean Walton of Kermit; nine
   grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be to the Heart Fund.
