Opal E. Polk

DALHART - Opal E. Polk, 98, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lincoln Street Baptist Church with
Rusty Hancock, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Polk was born May 23, 1906, in Morgan Town, W.Va. She married Louis Polk
in August 1926 in Elk City, Okla.

Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Christy of Apache Junction, Ariz., and
Lois Gossett of Dalhart; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
