Doris Richards
FRIONA - Doris Richards, 62, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, in Littlefield.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Union Congregational Church with 
the Rev. Herman Krauel, pastor, and the Rev. Vergil Ichtertz, of Lubbock, 
officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richards was born in Elk City, Okla. She lived in Littlefield the past 
16 months, moving from Friona, where she had lived since 1968. She was a dispatcher 
for Friona Police Department. She was a member of Union Congregational Church.

She married Sam Richards in 1955 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1989. She also was 
preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Bentley, in 1995.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Odell of Lubbock; a son, Randy Richards, of 
Wolfforth; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
