Lorene C. Rogers

VERNON - Lorene C. Rogers, 89, died Saturday, March 23, 2002.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was born June 5, 1912, in Cottle County. She married Ernest L.
Rogers in 1940 at Elk City, Okla.

Survivors include a son, Jim Hughes of Vernon; two daughters, Ernestine
Nelson of French Morocco and Sue Bringham of Euless; three sisters,
Arlewene Williams of Turkey, Betty Buckingham of Pampa and Shirley
Townsend of Grapevine; three brothers, Jim Majors of Turkey, O.H. Majors
of Lubbock and Nelson Majors of Lorenzo; seven grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Boys and Girls Club of Vernon.
