Otis Jackson Sanders Jr.

WEATHERFORD, OKLA. - Otis Jackson Sanders Jr., 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 10,
2006, in Benton, Ark.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the
Rev. Lynn Brack officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City,
Okla., by Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Mr. Sanders was born June 20, 1931, in Rankin to Otis Jackson and Daisy
Marcella Bates Sanders. He retired from education after 38 years, three years
in public education at Jet and Amarillo, Texas, high schools, and 35 years in
higher education, teaching and coaching.

Survivors include his wife, Adelia Beth Sanders; a daughter, Viki Lynn
Richardson of Guymon; a son, Jack Sanders of Mustang; eight grandchildren; and
a sister, Shirley Jacobs of Riverside, Calif.

The family suggests memorials be to the Panhandle State University 1961
Football Scholarship Fund or First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.
