   Arthur W. Sanders
   ERICK, Okla. - Arthur W. "Peck" Sanders, 86, died Monday, March 29,
   1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Erick Assembly of God Church
   with Ray Smart officiating. Burial will be in Erick Cemetery by
   Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.
   
   Mr. Sanders was born in Helena, Mont., and moved to Oklahoma when he
   was 7 years old. He was raised north of Erick. He worked in the Carbon
   Black plants in Shamrock, Texas, Louisiana and Kansas.
   
   After his marriage, Mr. Sanders moved to Satanta, Kan., where he was
   employed by the Department of Transportation. After his retirement at
   65, he was employed by Satanta High School. He and his wife moved to
   Erick in September.
   
   He married Edith Coffey Conway in 1954 at Canadian. He was preceded in
   death by a son, John Arthur Sanders, and a stepdaughter, Joann Nelson.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Darla Jean Lowrance of
   Lampasas, Texas; a son, Gail Wayne Sanders of Pampa, Texas; four
   stepchildren; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
