   Vera Faye Gholson Scott
   QUANAH - Vera Faye Gholson Scott, 70, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997.
   
   Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Quanah Memorial Park
   with Dan Mike Bird officiating. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson
   Funeral Home.
   
   Mrs. Scott was born in Elk City, Okla. She was a lifelong resident of
   Quanah. She married Walter Scott in 1959 at Wichita Falls. She was
   retired from White's Auto and had been affiliated with Casa Royale Inn
   for the past six years. She was active with the Quanah Airport Board
   and the Quanah, Acme and Pacific Railroad Museum Board. She was a
   member of First Christian Church.
   
   Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Rena Kay Oldham of
   Lubbock and Mary Ann Scott of Plano; a son, Walter Grey III of Fort
   Worth; a sister, Ruth Rodriguez of San Antonio; and one grandson.
