   Tillman Shough
   MELROSE, N.M. - Tillman Shough, 80, died Saturday, March 27, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Melrose Church of Christ with
   Sean Andrews and John Snider officiating. Burial will be in Melrose
   Cemetery by SteedTodd Funeral Home of Clovis.
   
   Mr. Shough was born in Elk City, Okla. He was a member, elder and a
   deacon of the Melrose Church of Christ. He was an original member of
   and had served as a fire chief for the Quemado Volunteer Fire
   Department.
   
   He married Vaguhneda Smith in 1947 at Quemado.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Shough of Clovis; two
   daughters, Alexs Armstrong of Las Cruces, Jane Stapleton of Fort
   Myers, Fla.; a brother, Glen Shough of Belen; seven grandchildren;
   three stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
