Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Roger Smelser, senior minister at First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mrs. Simpson was born in Canadian, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a nurse's aide and health care provider at Hemphill County Hospital and Abraham Memorial Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married George Simpson in 1974 at Canadian. She was preceded in death by a son, John Borst, in 1947. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Fredrick Borst and William Borst, both of San Antonio, and Thomas Borst of Elk City, Okla.; two daughters, Willa Jane Condron of Waco and Irene Davidson of Canadian; a sister, Gladys McCollom of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 S.
