MAYFIELD, OKLA. - Rodney E. Smith, 65, died Thursday, March 23, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Erick Church of Christ in Erick 
with Durward Weatherford and Charlie Floyd officiating. Burial will be 
in Erick Cemetery by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home of Erick.

Mr. Smith was born April 22, 1940, in Erick to Blanche and Lawson Smith. 
He married Ladine Bassett on Jan. 26, 1959, in Sayre.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Kelvin Earl Smith of Greenbriar, 
Ark., Michael Keith Smith of Amarillo, Texas, Rita Carol Lee of Waco, Texas, 
and Christina Dawn Dunlap of Elk City; six grandchildren; four great-grand-
children; his mother of Erick; two brothers, Wayford Smith of Ontario, Canada, 
and Melvin Smith of Pampa, Texas; and a sister, Sybil Kinonen of Tucson, Ariz.
