Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Cox officiating. Arrangements are by Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Mrs. Smith was born near Port. She was a member of the first graduating class of Foss High School in 1925. She received a bachelor's and a master's degree from Southwestern State College at Weatherford. She taught school for 33 years at Crawford, Spring Creek, Fort Carson, Colo., and Elk City. She had been a member of Elk City First Presbyterian Church for many years. For the last seven years, she had lived at the Bell Avenue Nursing Center at Elk City. She married Arthur Leland Smith in 1926 at Foss. He died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, M. Irene Unger of Amarillo; two sons, Clarence Smith of Elk City and Ronald Smith of Fairbanks, Alaska; a brother, Clayton Hall of Livermore, Calif.; a sister, Naomi Tyler of Elk City; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild.
