All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Buford Leroy Taylor Buford Leroy Taylor, 84, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ural Cemetery, Elk City, Okla., with Dale Henthorn officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Taylor was born in Dayton, Ark. He had lived in Oklahoma City for 31 years before moving to Amarillo in 1995. During World War II, he served in the Army i n the 45th Division, 180th Infantry. Mr. Taylor married Martha Womack in 1955. She died in 1978. Survivors include three sisters, Vernoma Brannon of Quemado, N.M., Priscilla Henthorn of Stroud, Okla., and Reba Lamp of Fayetteville, Ark.; and a brother, Nova Hedrick of Burwick, La. The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetic or the Disabled Veterans Association. Amarillo Daily News, May 11, 2000
