Luther Owen Thompson

SHAMROCK - Luther Owen Thompson, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, in
Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev.
Mike Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery in
Samnorwood by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock.

Mr. Thompson was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Wellington to Luther Tip and Mamie
Johnson Thompson. He married Arlene Pullman on June 24, 1949, in Samnorwood.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Walter Leroy Pullum of Amarillo, Larry
Owen Thompson of Pampa, Gary Lynn Thompson of Reydon, Okla., and Michael Leroy
Thompson of Elk City, Okla.; two sisters, LaFerne Ball of Amarillo and Mary
Sue Adams of Spearman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
