Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Donnie Callaway, minister of James Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by Dawson-Welch Funeral Funeral Home. Mrs. Thrasher was born July 22, 1919, in the James Community. She was united in marriage to her husband of 65 years, Raymond Thrasher, on Oct. 20, 1939. Survivors include her husband; a son, Bobby Thrasher of Elk City; a sister, Geneva Clark of Camdenton, Mo.; two brothers, Melvin Burns of Texhoma and Earl Burns of Lawrence, Mass.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Texhoma Cemetery or Texhoma Ambulance Fund and may be sent to the funeral home, P.O. Box 445, Texhoma, OK 73949. Amarillo Globe-News, April 5, 2005
