Cora Vaughan
ELK CITY, Okla. - Cora Vaughan, 97, formerly of Elk City, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000.

Services will be Wednesday in Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene in Alma, Ark. 
Arrangements are by Edwards VanAlma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Local 
arrangements by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. 

Mrs. Vaughan was born in Paris, Ark. She was a longtime resident of Elk City 
before moving to California. In 1967 she moved to Alma, where she was a member 
of Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene.

She had lived in Amarillo since 1999.

She married Archie Vaughan in 1950. He died in 1995.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Kirkland and Kenneth Kirkland, both of Idaho; 
two daughters, Faye Simpson of Amarillo and Patricia Miller of Van Buren, Ark.; 
two stepsons, Donald Vaughan and Ronny Vaughan, both of Burbank, Calif.; and a 
stepdaughter, Wanda of Las Vegas.

The family suggests memorials be to Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene.
