Wendell R. "Curly" Watson

LONE WOLF, Okla. - Wendell R. "Curly" Watson, 71, died Thursday, June 3, 2004,
in Elk City.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Carter First Baptist Church with John
Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery by Peoples Cooperative
Funeral Home.

Mr. Watson resided in Wheeler, Texas, until his retirement from Phillips
Petroleum Co. in June 1986. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in the
Korean conflict.

Survivors include two sons, Ben Watson of Pampa, Texas, and Bill Watson of
Fritch, Texas; five grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell Watson of Carter.

The family suggests memorials be to Khiva Shrine, 305 E. Fifth Ave., Amarillo,
TX 79101.
