All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Ola Mae Neel Williams ELK CITY, Okla. - Ola Mae Neel Williams, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at Muleshoe, Texas, with the Rev. Glen Williams officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery at Muleshoe by Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Mrs. Williams was born in Tahlequah and moved with her parents to Bula, Texas, and graduated from Littlefield High School. She married Scott D. Williams in 1939 at Clovis. He died in 1970. She moved to Stegall where they farmed. During World War II, they moved to California to work in the defense plants. She worked for Hughes Aircraft Plant until her husband entered the military. She moved to Muleshoe and worked for Ladd Lumber Co. She was a homemaker. She moved to Petersburg and worked in the school lunch room as a cook. She moved to Seagraves where he managed a lumber yard. She moved to Clinton and worked as a nurse's aide at the Methodist Nursing Center. In 1995, she moved to Elk City. She was a member of Clinton First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sibyl Hillock of Elk City and LaNell Frisse of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; a sister, Lola Latimer of Midwest; a brother, Otis Neel of Friona, Texas; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
