All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Narrel W. Wilson LUBBOCK - Narrel W. Wilson, 71, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with Dr. Michael Passmore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in city of Lubbock Cemetery by Sanders Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson was born in Paducah and grew up in Spearman. He graduated from Spearman High School and attended Texas Tech University, where he studied electrical engineering. During the Korean War he served in the Air Force. In 1956 he began as a civil service aircraft electrician at Reese Air Force base and retired in 1984. He served as board director for Texas Plains Federal Credit Union and attended Trinity Church. He married Jeanene Graves in 1950 at Spearman. Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith Wilson of Lubbock; a daughter, Kim Day of Dallas; a sister, Wanda Newman Bryant of Elk City, Okla.; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to University Baptist Mission, 2420 10th Ave., Lubbock, TX 79401. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
