Doris Maxine Dillard Grimland Yates

SILVERTON - Doris Maxine Dillard Grimland Yates, 74, died Saturday, May 15,
2004, in Tulia.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev.
Rance Young, of First United Methodist Church in Silverton, officiating.
Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mrs. Yates was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Ralls. She loved her Lord and attended
First Baptist Church faithfully in Silverton when she returned in 2001.

Survivors include her children, Terry Grimland, Alan Grimland (with whom she
lived) and Connie Davis, all of Silverton; six grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and nine siblings, Dorothy Ellis of Ralls, Jack Dillard of
Silverton, Juanell Graves of Lubbock, Ronald Dillard of Abernathy, Donald
Dillard of El Dorado, Ark., Sam Dillard of Elk City, Okla., Retha Champion of
Covina, Calif., Mike Dillard of Coweta, Okla., and Gayla Holcombe of Jay,
Okla.
