James, who was killed in automobile accident at Borger, Tex., were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Littrell-Scroggins chapel by Rev. J. L. Davis. James, a former resident of this vicinity, was employed by a gas company in a plant near Perryton, Tex. The accident occurred when a tire blew out and the car turned over several times. Three of the eight men passengers were killed and two others injured. He was born April 1, 1904(sic) and was married to Miss Ruby Jewell Keith of Delhi November 10, 1931. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Ellen Joyce, Dolores Gayle and Belva Sue, and two sons, Robert Dale and Jimmie Dee, and two brothers, George and John James, both of Sayre. Interment was made in the Delhi cemetery.
