   Mrs.C.L.JEFFERIES,living about two miles west of Carter,died on the
   morning of July 4th,following a short illness,having taken seriously
   ill with heart trouble only a few days before her death.She was buried
   in the Carter cemetery on the evening following her death,by the side
   of a son who died only a few months ago.
