JEFFRIES, GEORGE F.
(18 May 1916, Thursday, Elk City Leader, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH'S HARVEST
Geo. F. Jeffries died yesterday, May 17th, after a lingering illness, aged
59 years, 10 months and 1 day.  Funeral services were held this afternoon
at the home.  Interment in the Elk City Cemetery.
Geo. F. Jeffreys Died at Home on Wednesday Morning
Geo. F. Jeffreys, for many years a resident of Elk City, died at the
family home in the north part of the city yesterday.  Mr. Jeffreys had
been in ill health for some time, but the illness which caused his death
lasted only a few days.  He was 59 years old and is survived by his widow
and two grown children, who have the sympathy of many friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence at 3 o'clock Thursday
afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the Elk City Cemetery. 
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Chandler & Robinson.
