KING SERVICES TENTATIVELY SLATED HERE SUNDAY AT 2:30 WILLIAM LUDY KING Retired farmer of 502 S Washington have been tenatively set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the local Nazarene Church with Rev Otto C Perry, Pastor officiating. Mr. King was born June 25, 1886 in Decatur, Ala and died at his home Thursday Jan 17, after several years illness. He had been released from the hospital less than two hours before his death Thursday. His first marriage was to Eula Mae Allison at Milburn, Johnston County in 1904 and she preceded him in death in 1915. In 1930 he married to Merla Williams at Sayre. Mr. King came to Oklahoma in 1902 and to the Canute community in 1926. he had been living in Elk City since 1944. Mr. King was a member of the Nazarene Church. Survivors include his wife, a son, Keith at home, four daughters, Mrs. Harry Stout and Mrs. Virginia Robinson, Las Cruces, NM. Mrs. Garve McIntire, Sayre and Mrs. Jack Moyer Rincon, NM. Sons, Lawrence, Mayfield, Russell, Elk City, James, Los Angles, Calif and Claude of Santa Monica. 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandhildren and two brothers, N.T. (Nate) King, Elk City and T.L. (Tom) King, Trinity, ALA He was preceded in Death by four brothers, three sisters, and his first wife. Savage Funeral home is handling arrangements with burial plans incomplete at noon today.
