"Bill" Lakey SAYRE, Okla. - William D. "Bill" Lakey, 90, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with Tom Cooksey and Richard Waters officiating. Burial will be in Sayre-Doxey Cemetery by Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Mr. Lakey was a longtime banker in western Oklahoma. He was active in his community, church, rotary and Sayre Hospital Board. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Phyllis Lakey of Broken Arrow; three sons, William David Lakey Jr., Eddie Tom Lakey and James Robert Walker Lakey, all of Sayre; three sisters, Opal Water, Leona Faye Lakey and Alice Bryan, all of Amarillo, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
