Mrs.LANE had been in very bad health for many months and she and Mr.LANE came to Carter several weeks ago,but left here and went to Hobert where she was treated sometime,but not getting any better,they returned here.While it was known that her condition was serious and her friends here had very little hopes of a complete recovery still the suddenness of her death was very unexpected. Deceased had one son,Arthur,in the United States Army who has already departed overseas.Two other sons live at Tulsa,Charley and John,and another,Burl,at Oklahoma City. 02 August 1918 -The Carter Express
