G.E.LEWIS Services Conducted At Sayre Monday,April 10...

Services for George Elmer LEWIS were conducted,in the Scroggins Chapel by
Rev.Founly RIDLEY at Sayre Monday,April 10,at 2 p.m. Burial was in the
Carter cemetery.

Mr.LEWIS,79 years of age,passed away Saturday,April 8,at 11 p.m.,in the
home of his daughter,Mrs.David L.JONES,706 S.E. 32st.St.,Oklahoma
City,after an illness of several weeks.

Mr.LEWIS was preceded in death by his wife and nine of their eleven children.

Survivors are two daughters,Mrs.David L.JONES and Mrs.Melvin PERRY,both
of Oklahoma City;a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those from Hammon attending the services were Mr.and Mrs.W.C.LESTER and
Mrs.Eva M.RICHARDSON..
