Mr.MAINARD had been suffering with an attack of pneumonia but had recovered from same sufficiently that he was able to come up to town on Saturday,and many of his friends talked with him while in town and were very glad to see him able to be up again,however on Sunday night he was taken ill again which grew worse until early Monday night when he passed away. Mr.MAINARD was an old settler here and was known and highly respected by everybody.He made a fine citizen that the community will greatly miss.He leaves several children to mourn his passing away.All of the children are married. The remains were laid to rest in the Carter cemetery Tuesday afternoon.The children have the sympathy of the entire people here in the loss of their father,who had lived such a clean and noble life..
