YOUNG BOY DIES * 09 Aug 1918 The Carter Express

Doyle McColum,the thirteen year old son of Mr.and Mrs.John McCOLUM,of
whom we spoke last week as being ill,died on the morning of the 2nd.

The boy had been ill for a long time,being afflicted with heart trouble
and although his parents had all done for him that could be done to bring
back his health still he continued to grow worse from day to day until
the end.

The remains were interred in the Carter cemetery Saturday.

during the illness and death of our son and brother.
