The aged man died Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter,Mrs.Edd DAUGHTREY,1002 West Ave B. He was born on August 2,1860 at Tupelo,Miss.,and came to Beckham county in 1912.He was married at Cleburne,Texas,on Jauary 1,1884 to Mollie BILLS.She preceded him in death on July 19,1923 at Elk City, He is survived by Onie L.McCOLUM,Cortez,Colo.,Roy E. McCOLUM,? of Thomas and Alva B.McCOLUM of Reno,Nevada,sons,and Mrs.Bess McCOLUM HAMMONS and Mrs.Johnie McCOLUM DAUGHTRY,both of Elk City and Mrs. Hattie McCOLUM VINEYARD of Clinton,sisters. Interment was made in the Carter cemetery under the direction of the MARTIN-HULLUM Funeral home..
