Velda McDONALD was born July 24,1913 in Commanche,Ok.,to Polly Rebecca
and Ezra Daly DENSON and passed away April 6,1993 in the Sayre Memorial
Hospital at the age of 79 years,8 months and 12 days.

She moved to Potersville,CA.,during the Dust Bowl Days and married Joe
Coleman McDONALD on December 14,1937 in Portersville,CA., where they
remained until 1939 when they moved to Carter,Oklahoma to make their
home.Velda worked at the First National Bank of Carter for over 25 years
until her retirement in 1980.

She was a member of the Carter Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents,husband and 1 sister.

Services will be 1:00 p.m.,Friday 9,1993 at the Carter Church of Christ
officiated by Orian Church.Interment will be in the Carter cemetery under
the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Survivors are 1 daughter Rita Jo GRUNWALD from Carter,Ok.;3 grandchildren
Ron and Kay DeBRUIN from Kallaro,West Australia,Gordon and Maragarite
DeBRUIN from Carter,Ok.,and Robert and Di DeBRUIN from Cooper,TX.,8 great
grandchildren Kristin and Justin DeBRUIN,Nikki HILL,Derrick DeBRUIN,John
DeBRUIN,Casey,Jordon and Jacob ARCHER.Also a host of relatives and friends..
