He was married to Rachel Almeda PRIDE,Dec 17,1866.To this union 8 children were born,four preceding him in death. Survivors are his wife,Mrs.J.A.McDONALD,three sons,W.L.,Carter; L.T.,Exerton,Calif.,and John of Lone Wolfe;one brother,21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He has been a member of the Baptist Church for many years and a resident of Carter for 20 years His many friends will remember him as "Uncle Mack".
