McFARLAND,ANNA (DUDLEY) 

b.1887 d.05 Feb 1926 buried Carter Cemetery,Carter,Beckham Co.,Ok.,

d/o J.H. or J.M. (TX) and Mary Ann ( BURKS) McFARLAND (KY.)

Mrs.Anna McFARLAND,of Sayre,died at an Elk City hospital last
Friday,after an illness of two weeks,leaving an infant daughter two weeks old:

Mrs.McFARLAND was formerly Miss Anna DUDLEY and was well known throughout
the county as she served as county school Superintendent of Beckham
County for several years making her home at Sayre during that time .In
her young days she lived in the Carter community and was one among the
first pupils to graduate from the Carter high school.

The funeral services were held at Sayre on Monday afternoon,after which
the remains were brought to the Carter Cemetery and laid away by the side
of her father,Mr.J.H.DUDLEY,who died several years ago.There was a very
large crowd present at the cemetery.
