DEATH FROM ACCIDENT **Young McGINNIS Boy Happens To Accident Sunday
Afternoon And Dies Monday Night

As the family of Mr.and Mrs.J.O.McGINNIS,living southeast of Carter were
returning home Sunday afternoon from Mr.C.KRING'S,a deplorable accident
happened to their little boy,Roy Elton McGINNIS,that proved to be
fatal.The little fellow had gotten out of the back in which the family
were riding and while attempting to get back in one of his feet caught in
the spokes of one of the wheels.His limp was twisted around and broken
and crushed above and below the knee.He was carried at once to the
hospital at Elk City,where an operation was performed on Monday,but the
young life passed out that night about 10 o'clock.

The remains were buried in the Carter cemetery Tuesday afternoon.The
entire people of this part of the country extend to Mr.McGINNIS and
family their deep sympathy in their great sorrow.
