Thelma McLeod, 91  of Amarillo. Died Tuesday May 1 2001.
Mrs McLeod was born at Greer County Oklahoma April 25 1910, to Bertie and 
Eugene Harris.
She married O.O. (Buddy) McLeod August 13 1929 Woodward Oklahoma.
Thelma was daughter of  Bertie Christal Harris who was the daughter of Missouri
 Jane Rutherford , only sister of William Franklin Rutherford from Beckham 
County Oklahoma.. They settled in Greer County where they farmed.
Thelma and Buddy lived at Spearman Texas for a period of time, then moved to 
Amarillo.
Mrs McLeod worked for Douch Cleaners in Amarillo as a seamstress for 37 years.
She a member of Valley Bapitst Church.
She was preceded in death by her Husband O.O. McLeod and a son Billy Mack 
McLeod.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors 
Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paromount Blvd, with Rev. Dana Moore of Pleasant
Valley Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter Dorthy Darlene Callaway of Amarillo, two brothers
Glen Harris of Amarillo, and Eddie Read of Ringo, a sister Ruby Hayden of 
Phoenix, six grandchildren., 18 great grandchildren, and five great great
grandchildren.
