** YOUNG MAN DIES ** 22 Feb.1918 The Carter Express**

Haskell MONTGOMERY,the young son of Mr.and Mrs.George MONTGOMERY,residing
across the river west of Carter,died Sunday night.

The young man had only been ill a few days,his condition having steadily
grown worse from the beginning of his illness.He was about twelve years of age.

The remains were interred in the Carter cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
