Rev. M.I. Pierce, Beaver, and Rev. Lynn Beason, Hammon, officiated. Mr. Moore was born January 31, 1884 in Hunt County, Texas. He died at his home in Hammon on Monday, August 5, 1957 after being confined to his bed since July 1956. Mr. Moore was married to Margaret E. Bolding in Rocky on April 8, 1906. He had resided in Oklahoma since 1905, with the exception of three years and nine months he lived in New Mexico. He moved to Roger Mills county in 1916. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. S. r. Moore, Hammon; four daughters, Bonny Rachel Malson, Hammon; Fleta Lois Hughes and Mattie Cathryn Moore, both of Mangum, and Marye Ruth Campbell, Anadarko; a son, Samuel Woodrow Moore; Lazbuddy, Texas; 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lula Baker, Clinton; Mrs. Bessie Briscoe, Carter; three brothers, W.R., Clinton, Roy, Parsons, Kansas and Alfred, Hobart. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma
