L. Moulton, who died early Thurs- day morning, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Sayre First Christian church, with Rev. S. P. Austin, pastor, officiat- ing. Mrs. Moulton, who was 68 year old, died at her home in the Buf- falo community about 1 o'clock Thursday morning. She had been in ill health for nearly a year. Dropsy was given as the cause of her death. She was a pioneer of western Oklahoma, having moved to this section nearly 27 years ago. She is survived by her husband O. L. Moulton, and five children, two sons, Archie Moulton of Ne- braska, Ben Moulton also of Ne- braska: and three daughters, Shirley Moulton of Grimes, Mrs. Roy Harkins of Sayre and Mrs. Jessie York of Durham. Pall bearers will be Oscar Ew- town, J. L. Thurmond, J. B. Puck- ett, W. J. McAnery and Mr. Deweber and Eli Shotwell of Cheyenne. Interment will be made at the Sayre-Doxey cemetery by the Moore funeral home. 6 Mar 1936 Sayre Daily Headlight Journal Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Idell Moulton, pioneer Beckham county resident, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Christian church with Rev. Spen- cer Austin, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Moulton died at her home in Grimes at 12:30 o'clock Thurs- day morning. She was born at Farina, Ill. on January 24, 1868, and moved to Dodge Center, Minn. while very young. She was a member of the Dodge Center Seventh Day Bap- tist church. She married Orrin S. Moulton February 28, 1883 at Dodge Center and to this union were born eight children, three of whom are dead. In 1909 they moved to Gentry, Ark. and lived there until 1909 when they moved to Beckham county, and bought a farm in the Grimes community where they have re- sided for the past 17 years. Survivors are her husband, three sons; Arch, Ben and Shirley, all of Grimes; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Harkins, Sayre and Mrs. Will York, Durham, and 16 grandchild- ren.
