  Rev. Detherage and Plemons drove
over from Fredrick to be in attend-
ance at the funeral of John Lester
Moulton which were held in the
Christian Church Sunday afternoon.
Brother Deatherage was to have
preached the funeral services but was
delayed Brother Weeks of the
Methodist officiated.  Plemons  Dea-
therage rendered two lovely solos.

  John Lester Moulton died at the
Mayo Brothers hospital at Rochester
and the body shipped back here for
interment.  For a period of years the
family has lived in Sayre and prior
to his death Mr. Moulton was em-
ployed at the City Meat Market.
  He had been ill some time and re-
signed his place at the market last
summer to go to Colorado in the in-
terest of his health and upon his re-
turn was later taken to Rochester.
  Funeral services were conducted
at the Christian church by Rev. T.
N. Weeks, Sunday, December 5th,
and interment made in the Sayre-
Doxey cemetery.  Rev. Deatherage
was engaged for the funeral services,
but owing to car trouble was delay-
ed on his way from Frederick.
